No visitor cookies

Our analytics are first-party, self-hosted and run without cookies: they count page views, respect your browser’s Do-Not-Track setting, and truncate IP addresses. Because nothing is stored on your device, there is no consent banner and nothing for you to opt into or out of. If you have Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled, your signals are honoured.

The one exception: staff sign-in

The editorial team signs in through a separate staff area, which uses first-party session cookies for login. These are never set for ordinary visitors and contain no personal data about you.

No advertising cookies

There are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Advertising is switched off. Outbound links to vendors are ordinary links with no added identifier.
